Sustainable supply chain management in the leather industry: a systematic literature review

As a global manufacturing sector, the leather industry has been critical player in international commerce market. With growing concerns about its sustainability, there tends to be an increasing number of studies academic literature as well grey (e.g. reports) focusing on supply chain management. However, is lack comprehensive review current research that illustrates relationships between sustainable governance practices and their antecedents consequences. This paper aims identify main themes chains through systematic 61 published 1992 2022 identified from Scopus WoS databases reports propose theoretical framework based thematic findings for future research. In these contexts, five were literature: drivers, practice, barriers, enablers outcomes industry. Ultimately, conceptual identifying linkages was developed. The article also suggests directions managerial implications.
